The Nature of I Am Well Services

I Am Well provides practical wellbeing support, education, complementary therapies and facilitated experiences.

Our services are not a substitute for medical treatment, psychological therapy, psychiatric care or emergency support. We do not diagnose medical or mental health conditions.

You remain responsible for seeking appropriate professional advice where necessary and for telling us about anything that could affect your safe participation.

No particular outcome can be guaranteed. People respond differently to the same activity, treatment or approach, and you are always encouraged to work within your own comfort and ability.

Bookings and Payments

A booking is confirmed when the required payment has been received or when I Am Well confirms the booking in writing.

Prices and payment instructions will be shown on the relevant booking page, Stripe payment page, quotation or invoice.

For organisational bookings, the payment amount and due date will be included in the quotation, invoice or written agreement. Payment must be made by the stated due date.

You are responsible for checking the service, date, time and delivery method before completing payment.

Payments may be processed through third-party services including Stripe and TidyCal. Card details are handled by the relevant payment provider and are not stored directly by I Am Well.

If incorrect contact information is provided, we cannot be responsible for booking confirmations, online access details or resources that do not reach you.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Individual Appointments

You may cancel or move an individual appointment by giving at least 48 hours’ notice.

Where sufficient notice is given, you may choose a refund or move your booking to another available appointment.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice and missed appointments are normally non-refundable. Exceptional circumstances may be considered individually.

Public Workshops, Classes and Gatherings

If you give at least 48 hours’ notice, your booking may be transferred to another available date where the same or a comparable session is offered.

Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice and non-attendance are normally non-refundable or transferable.

You may give your place to another suitable participant, but you must tell I Am Well before the session.

Organisational Bookings

Cancellation and rescheduling arrangements for workplaces, schools and community organisations will be stated in the relevant quotation or written agreement.

Any cancellation charge will be reasonable and will reflect work already completed, costs incurred and losses resulting directly from the cancellation.

If I Am Well Cancels

If I Am Well cancels a paid session and cannot offer a suitable alternative, you will receive a full refund.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory consumer rights.

Online Sessions

Online sessions may be delivered through Zoom or another suitable platform. Access details will be sent using the contact information provided during booking.

You are responsible for having a suitable device, internet connection and private or appropriate space from which to join.

Please do not share session links with anyone who has not booked.

Participants must not record, photograph or take screenshots of a session without prior written permission. I Am Well will not record a group session without informing participants beforehand.

If you cannot join because of a problem with your own device, connection or availability, the normal cancellation policy will apply.

If a significant technical problem on our side prevents the session from taking place, we will offer a replacement session, transfer or refund.

Digital Resources and Downloads

Digital resources are provided for personal use or, where agreed, for use within the purchasing organisation.

They must not be copied, resold, republished, altered, uploaded elsewhere or distributed without written permission from I Am Well.

For paid digital content, information about cancellation rights will be provided before purchase. Where you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that your cancellation right will end once the download begins, the resource may be supplied immediately.

If a purchased resource is faulty, materially different from its description or is not supplied, please contact hello@iamwell.org.uk so that the issue can be corrected.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

Organisational Bookings

For workplace, school and community bookings, the organisation must provide accurate information about the group, venue, timings, participant numbers and any known access or support needs.

The organisation is responsible for providing a safe and suitable venue, appropriate facilities and a named contact who can assist on the day.

Changes to the agreed date, location, participant numbers, session length or content may affect the price and must be agreed in advance.

I Am Well may adapt an activity where necessary to protect participants’ safety, respond to access needs or suit the time and environment available.

Children and Young People

A parent, carer, school or responsible organisation must make bookings for children and young people and provide any consent or relevant information required for safe participation.

Parents, carers and organisations remain responsible for disclosing allergies, medical needs, access requirements or other information that could affect participation.

For sessions delivered through a school or organisation, appropriate staff or responsible adults must remain available and retain responsibility for safeguarding and supervision.

I Am Well sessions are not a substitute for childcare, medical care, therapy or specialist educational support. Unsupervised childcare is not provided unless this has been explicitly agreed in writing.

Complementary Therapies and Wellbeing Activities

Before receiving a complementary therapy or taking part in a practical wellbeing activity, you must provide accurate information about your health, medication, pregnancy, allergies, injuries and anything else that could affect your safe participation.

You should tell the practitioner immediately if anything feels uncomfortable or causes concern.

A treatment or activity may be adapted, postponed or declined where it may not be suitable or where further medical advice is needed.

Any oils, blends or wellbeing products provided must be used only as instructed. Stop using the product and seek appropriate advice if irritation or an unexpected reaction occurs.

Respect, Safety and Confidentiality

Sharing personal experiences during a group session is always optional.

Participants are expected to treat one another, the facilitator and any staff with respect. Abusive, discriminatory, threatening or unsafe behaviour will not be accepted.

I Am Well may end a session or ask someone to leave where their behaviour creates a risk or seriously disrupts the experience for others. A refund will not normally be provided in these circumstances.

I Am Well will treat personal information shared during a session with care. However, in group settings, we cannot guarantee the actions or confidentiality of other participants.

Information may be shared where required by law or where there is a serious safeguarding or safety concern.

Intellectual Property

All I Am Well materials, including written content, exercises, frameworks, session plans, handouts, downloads, recordings, videos, audio, photographs and branding, are owned by or licensed to I Am Well Ltd.

Booking a session or receiving a resource does not give you permission to reproduce, sell, publish, teach from or distribute the material.

Organisations may share materials internally only where this has been expressly agreed or stated on the resource.

You must obtain written permission before using I Am Well content for training, commercial purposes or public distribution.

Responsibility and Liability

I Am Well will provide services with reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for loss or harm caused by inaccurate or withheld information, failure to follow safety instructions, inappropriate use of a resource or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party services such as Zoom, Stripe, TidyCal or email providers.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or your statutory consumer rights.

Changes and Events Outside Our Control

I Am Well may make reasonable changes to a session’s content, facilitator, timing, venue or delivery method where necessary.

We will tell you as soon as reasonably possible if a significant change affects your booking.

We are not responsible for delays or disruption caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. This may include serious illness, transport disruption, venue closure, extreme weather, public emergencies or widespread technology failure.

Where a paid session cannot proceed, we will try to offer a suitable alternative. If this is not possible, the cancellation terms above will apply.

Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the I Am Well Privacy Policy.

Information provided during booking will be used to manage your session, process payment, provide access details and communicate important information about your booking.

Marketing messages will only be sent where you have chosen to receive them.

Questions and Complaints

If you have a question, concern or complaint about a booking, service or resource, please contact:

hello@iamwell.org.uk

Please include enough information for us to understand what happened and identify the relevant booking.

We will aim to respond fairly and within a reasonable time.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, although consumers living elsewhere may retain the right to bring proceedings in their local courts where the law permits.

If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining sections will continue to apply.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated when services, booking arrangements or legal requirements change.

Updated terms will apply to new bookings and purchases from the date they are published. Existing bookings will remain subject to the terms accepted at the time of booking unless a change is required by law or agreed with you.
