About Dee

I believe wellbeing should be practical, accessible and relevant to the lives people are actually living.

Wellbeing is not something that only belongs in perfect conditions.

It has to work in everyday life.

In the middle of responsibilities.

Busy schedules.

Family life.

Work.

And everything else people are carrying.

My work focuses on helping people better understand themselves, develop practical wellbeing skills and create space to pause, reflect and reconnect.

Through I Am Well Ltd and Islington Healing Network, I work with organisations, communities and individuals to deliver workshops, wellbeing programmes and complementary therapies that support people in understanding stress, building resilience and developing practical wellbeing skills.

Why I Created I Am Well

Over the years I have worked alongside individuals, families and communities in a variety of settings.

One thing became increasingly clear.

Many people were carrying more than they realised.

Stress, responsibility, caring for others, life changes and everyday pressures can all affect how people feel, think and function.

I created I Am Well to provide practical wellbeing support that helps people better understand themselves and develop tools they can use in everyday life.

My aim has never been to offer complicated solutions.

It has always been to make wellbeing feel more accessible, relevant and achievable.

Experience

For nearly 20 years, I have supported individuals, families and communities through youth work, community engagement, wellbeing facilitation and complementary therapies.

My work has taken place across schools, community organisations, charities, parent groups and wellbeing settings, helping people develop practical tools that support wellbeing, resilience and self-awareness.

My Approach

Real Life Shaped My Work

My understanding of wellbeing comes not only from professional training, but also from personal and family experiences, community work and years spent supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds.

Through these experiences, I have seen how stress, responsibility, caring for others and the demands of everyday life can affect wellbeing in ways that are often overlooked.

I have also seen the difference that practical support, understanding and accessible wellbeing tools can make.

These experiences continue to shape the way I work today and influence my commitment to creating welcoming, supportive spaces where people feel heard, respected and able to engage at their own pace.
