Rebuilding Safety

A free six-week online wellbeing programme for women

Beginning September 2026 | Online | Places limited

If Calm Feels Unfamiliar, This May Be for You

Some women have spent so long staying alert, managing what is happening around them or waiting for the next thing to go wrong that slowing down does not automatically feel restful.

It can feel uncomfortable, exposed or simply unfamiliar.

Rebuilding Safety is not about forcing yourself to relax. Over six weeks, we will explore practical ways to understand your body’s stress signals, recognise moments of safety and respond before pressure takes over.

Choice, not pressure.

You will never be expected to share your story, speak before you are ready or take part in anything that does not feel right for you. Every practice is an invitation.

What We Will Explore

Over the six weeks, we will look at:

  • How pressure and prolonged alertness can show up in your body

  • Breathing and grounding without trying to perform calm

  • What helps your body recognise that a moment is safe

  • Boundaries, capacity and the things you may have become used to carrying

  • Recovery that can fit into real life

  • Reconnecting with yourself at your own pace

This is practical work. You will be able to try different approaches, notice what genuinely helps and leave behind anything that does not.

The Founding Circle

This first group will help shape what Rebuilding Safety becomes.

At the end of the programme, you will be invited to share what was helpful, what felt less useful and what women may need more of. There is no obligation to give personal feedback or disclose anything about your experiences.

Every woman who completes the programme will also receive the first edition of the Rebuilding Safety handbook, containing practical exercises and ideas you can return to after the six weeks have ended.

Could Rebuilding Safety Be Right for You?

This programme may be useful if you:

  • Find it difficult to switch off, even when you have the opportunity

  • Feel restless, uncomfortable or exposed when everything becomes quiet

  • Are used to being the strong or reliable person

  • Notice that your body often feels tense, tired or on alert

  • Want practical ways to support yourself without being expected to tell your whole story

  • Would like to reconnect with yourself without being rushed

You do not need to recognise yourself in every point.

You also do not need to arrive feeling calm, confident or ready to speak. You can listen, keep your camera off and participate in the ways that feel manageable for you.

The aim is not to make everybody respond in the same way. It is to help you discover what support can feel like for you.
