Wellbeing support for young people

I Am Well offers grounded, practical wellbeing sessions for children and young people in a safe and respectful environment. This work supports emotional regulation, confidence, and everyday resilience.

Parents and carers are welcomed as part of the process.

A safe, inclusive, and respectful space

Young people are supported in an environment that prioritises safety, dignity and inclusion. Every child is treated as an individual, with respect for their background, culture, beliefs, and lived experience.

This work is grounded in extensive experience supporting young people from many walks of life. Sessions are paced, accessible, and designed to meet each child where they are.

Professional safeguarding and care.

Work with young people is delivered with clear safeguarding awareness and professional responsibility. Sessions are structured to protect emotional safety and personal boundaries, with communication that is transparent and respectful.

Parents and carers can raise questions at any stage.

How support works

Sessions focus on practical tools that help young people understand and manage emotions, build confidence and develop steadier responses to stress.

Activities are age-appropriate and guided step by step. There is no pressure to share more than feels comfortable. Learning happens through gentle structure and practice.

Types of support available.

Support for young people can take different forms depending on what is needed.

Individual sessions

One-to-one sessions provide personalised support in a calm, structured environment. These are suitable for young people who benefit from focused attention and steady guidance.

Small group sessions

Group sessions help young people build emotional skills alongside peers in a safe and supportive setting. They encourage connection, confidence and shared learning.

Workshops and school or community programmes

Structured workshops can be delivered in schools or community spaces, focusing on practical wellbeing tools that support everyday resilience.

Who this support is for

This work supports children and young people experiencing stress, emotional overwhelm or transitions in daily life. It is also suitable for those who benefit from structured wellbeing tools and guided support.

Working with families.

Parents and carers are part of the conversation. Communication is clear and respectful, and you are supported in understanding how the work connects to everyday life at home.

The aim is steady support, not quick fixes.

What this work is not

This is not clinical therapy or crisis intervention. It is practical wellbeing support designed to strengthen everyday emotional skills and resilience.

Fees and accessibility

Sessions for young people are part of a professional wellbeing practice and are priced accordingly. At the same time, I Am Well is committed to accessibility and offers free or low-cost community sessions at points throughout the year.

If cost is a concern, you are welcome to start a conversation. The aim is to make appropriate support possible, not stressful.

If you are unsure which option is most appropriate, we can discuss what would best support your child.

If you are considering support for a young person, you are welcome to get in touch to discuss what would be most appropriate.

Information about upcoming community sessions is shared through the newsletter and events page.
