Community

Islington Healing Network

Islington Healing Network is a community wellbeing network created to help make wellbeing more accessible.

The network brings together people, organisations and wellbeing opportunities through workshops, activities, events and shared learning experiences that encourage connection, self-awareness and wellbeing.

Its purpose is simple.

To help make wellbeing more accessible by creating opportunities for people to access free and low-cost wellbeing activities, learn practical skills and feel more connected to themselves and their community.

While I Am Well Ltd provides professional wellbeing services, Islington Healing Network focuses on building community connections and increasing access to wellbeing opportunities.

Why I Created It

Over the years I met many people who wanted support but were unable to access it for a variety of reasons.

Some felt isolated.

Some lacked confidence.

Some were caring for others and rarely made time for themselves.

Others simply needed a welcoming space where they could connect, learn and feel part of something.

Islington Healing Network was created to help bridge that gap and provide opportunities for people to explore wellbeing in a supportive community environment.

Where possible, activities are designed to remain free or low-cost so that wellbeing support is accessible to as many people as possible.

Community Activities

Activities may include:

  • Community wellbeing workshops

  • Meditation and relaxation sessions

  • Complementary wellbeing activities

  • Parent and carer wellbeing sessions

  • Creative wellbeing projects

  • Seasonal wellbeing events

  • Community partnerships

Activities vary throughout the year depending on community needs, partnerships and available projects.

Unite in Stillness

Unite in Stillness is a regular wellbeing session that offers an opportunity to pause, slow down and reconnect.

Sessions may include meditation, breathwork, body awareness practices, reflection and discussion within a supportive environment.

The focus is not on being perfect.

The focus is on creating space.

Partnerships

Islington Healing Network welcomes opportunities to work alongside community organisations, local groups and wellbeing partners who share a commitment to supporting community wellbeing.

Partnership enquiries are always welcome.
